Here’s what most golfers don’t know that’s limiting their range of motion and keeping them from hitting the ball farther & with more accuracy.
You’re on the tee box.
You’ve lined your shot up and you’re about to smash that ball into the stratosphere.
Your shoulders bring the club back… your wrists start to hinge... as you rotate your hips and torso you bring the club pummeling back towards the ball... and just as it makes contact…
A bolt of lightning explodes in your hip and your crippling follow-through sends the ball slicing into the trees… never to be seen again.
Or maybe it’s your shoulders tightening up on the 6th hole and instead of playing the full 18… you end up walking off the course, leaving the back 9 untouched.
Or it’s the pain in your lower back that makes you spend more days in recovery than on the greens.
But it doesn't stop there...
When your body suffers—your golf game suffers too.
You love to golf. It’s supposed to be fun. You used to actually enjoy it.
But now, you get frustrated that...
❌ Stiffness in your shoulders & hips is messing with your swing
❌ Your friends get to the greens in fewer strokes
❌ You’re constantly searching for balls
❌ You can’t play as often as you want
❌ The game you love hurts your body
And it’s all because of one thing.
Put simply, Muscle Adaptive Shortening is when your muscles shorten to the length that you constantly use them.
The biggest cause of muscle adaptive shortening is sitting.
We sit at work, we sit in the car, we sit on the couch. When we sit, our hip muscles are stretched part way. Not all the way. Just part way.
And because we do so much sitting day-to-day, those hip muscles spend most of their time being only partly engaged and eventually your body feels that shortened position is it’s normal length—causing that limited range of motion to become your norm.
This is why you feel stiff or tight.
To perform your best on the golf course, you need your full range of motion in specific muscles—including the one most golfers have never even heard of.
It’s called the posas (pronounced so-as) and it’s used in almost every single movement you make—including your golf swing.
The psoas is the muscle that connects the lower body to the upper body and is responsible for creating a neutral pelvic alignment that stabilizes your hips while supporting your lower back and core. But when the psoas is the victim of Muscle Adaptive Shortening, you end up with a pelvic tilt that restricts your hips from rotating properly on your swing—causing you to lose power and accuracy.
Upper and Lower Crossed Syndrome is caused by adaptive muscle shortening. It happens because these group of muscles work in opposition to one another.
Think of these muscle groups like a see-saw. On one side are the agonists (the muscles being worked) and on the other side are the antagonists (the opposing muscles acting in contrast to the agonists.)
When one muscle becomes tight, it’s antagonist will be affected. Essentially, some muscles are stuck in a shortened (tight) position while other are stuck in a lengthened position (which causes them to weaken.)
This happens when your psoas shortens, causing your hip flexors and spinal muscles to tighten.
When those muscles are tight (shortened) it causes their counter muscles, your glutes, to become weak (from being lengthened).
When the glutes are weak, the hamstrings and back overcompensate…
And when the back overcompensates, it causes its counter muscles, your abs, to weaken…
All of which leaves your entire lower body out of alignment, tight and unable to perform as well.
With upper crossed syndrome, your shoulder, neck and chest are out of balance.
The shoulders roll forward, creating a rounded upper back and forward head…
The deep neck flexors, lower trapezius, and serratus anterior are kept in a lengthened position and become weakened…
While the upper trapezius, levator scapula, and pectoralis major and minor are overactive and tight from being shortened....
Causing your upper body to weaken, tighten and reduce the mobility you need for a fluid golf swing.
If you’re like us, you’ve tried it all:
You’ve splurged on private lessons and bought the best equipment, but your game still isn’t improving (and it won’t until you fix your muscle imbalances)...
So you started spending thousands of dollars on massages, chiro and physio—but it’s hard to stick with the exercises.
Once you leave their office you’re not sure you’re even doing the exercises correctly, so you lose all motivation and stop doing them altogether…
And you end up stuck in a pattern of stiffness that’s causing you to:
Upper & Lower Cross Syndrome… Pelvic Tilt… Adaptive Muscle Shortening…
Your body is a complex system that can be really difficult to understand.
Chances are, even if you didn’t know WHY you were doing it, you realized that increasing your flexibility and range of motion would help with your problems.
You thought stretching for a few minutes before your game is all you needed...
But holding a static stretch for 10 seconds did nothing to address the deeper issue of lengthening your muscles.
So you decided to create a DIY stretching routine…
Which took a fair bit of research…
And still left you wondering if you were doing the right stretches.
You’re not really sure what you’re doing or why…
You have a nagging voice in the back of your head:
“Are these stretches helping me with my SPECIFIC issues as a golfer?”
And before you know it a couple days go by…
Then entire months go by where you don’t do ANY stretching at all—landing you right back at square one: with an aching body that’s keeping you from maximizing your potential on the golf course.
And that’s where the Dynamic Golfer Method comes in.
You’re probably not a physiotherapist. Or an athletic therapist. Or a personal trainer.
But we are.
So we understand the complexity behind how the body works and what it needs for you to maximize its performance on the golf course.
By stretching daily with a focus on the exact muscles you use when golfing, you will...
✅ Get rid of hip, shoulder & back pain
✅ Have increased mobility in your hips & shoulders
✅ Stop taking more strokes than your golf buddies
✅ Have better rotation for a more fluid swing
✅ Increase torque and club head speed
✅ Improve your accuracy and shot distance
✅ Fix upper & lower crossed syndromes
We’ve pooled all of our expertise to create a program that fixes your muscle imbalances as a golfer and helps keep you accountable and on track—so you don’t get bored and give up.
The key to fixing muscle imbalances is something we call “The Sequential Method”—which is the order in which each exercise is done.
To lengthen your muscles properly, you need to stretch them in the right order. Concentrating on one muscle before the other can actually make those muscle imbalances worse, rather than better.
Our unique, sequential method works to release the tension in your muscles, fascia, connective tissue, and finally the joint itself through dynamic movements that both strengthen and stretch combined with static deep-tissue stretches.
Even though you might know many of the stretches in our program, with our guided instructions, created by certified professionals, you never have to worry that:
Our unique, sequential method targets the muscles prone to adaptive shortening for golfers—especially the psoas and the muscles involved in upper & lower crossed syndrome—with daily routines to correctly and safely lengthen your muscles.
And it’s all accessible to you 24/7 with easy-to-follow, straight-to-the-point video routines that track your progress over time—without wasting your time.
It’s as easy as:
You’ll get over 168+ hours of content (and growing!)—that will help you get rid of the stiffness that’s hurting your body AND your golf score.
Develops and maintains a healthy range of motion through a combination of static stretches and dynamic movements so your body performs as it is supposed to.

How to use this program: Simply follow along with each daily video. It tracks your progress so you’ll automatically start at the next video the following day. Each day builds on the next so you’re constantly improving.
